I spent over an hour building her face in the character creator! It’s so much fun. Luckily, I don’t own every single Sims 3 item or I’d probably STILL be going through hairstyles and clothes! I spent some time carefully choosing a lot, but, I couldn’t find a large lot so I deleted two empty ones and put down a larger lot. The challenge that inspired me was historical hotel, building a hotel across ten generations, I decided to go toward a historical home. I also enabled a story progression mod, so other sims get jobs, etc to compete with.

Her starting home was 5×5 house with a cheap chair, a desk, a cheap bed, and the cheapest computer (for her job), a stove, fridge, and one counter to have room. She had no table, no shower, nothing of that sort to start off with. So hence she had to save and buy more stuff herself! I spent all of her extra money except for $502 on trees. Her house cost less then $3,000 to build. Used cheapest materials, no foundation. It’s as a starting apartment but without a bathroom. She’d be playing in the world of Setra, the desert world!

Calliope started her first novel on day one, took a class, and registered as self employed writer. First novel was Attack in the Bear Cave. She made $16 in her first day. Writing skill was improved to 2. She then spent time making her first meal, Mac and Cheese. She’s not a cook do she didn’t burn it. Oh, calliope doesn’t have a shower! I just noticed this. Well, I guess she has to save now. Because she only earned $16, the meal cost $8 so her total was $8 for her first day.

The next few days went better. She got to writing skill three. We finished her book and was able to afford a shower! Now problem is there’s no room… Now she’ll have to save some more for a wall expansion. When she woke up, I realized she had no dresser… Oops. Guess she’ll have to save even more! Her fun meter went down and the sim decided to chat with someone over the computer before getting any work done. She actually finished the novel on her second day! After writing for a few hours she ate, played some games. She then took a shower as we found a place for it! No vathtub for now. Played more games… Slacker, and finished up that novel!

She also got offered a job to write a biography about Dave Ravini under the opportunity ‘a history of one’. So far she did pretty well in her first few days of life. I decided to leave her alone and see how she can survive on her on for a few days,if she has any independence. Her bills came in… $41! She lost more then she earned! She better get to writing more or find a career and break her dream of being an author. she did get a promotion however once her book was finished! She’s now a small-time scribe! Her earnings are now $100. Critics however didn’t like her work. Now she spent her evening staring the biography and thats now her priority.

Luckily for her when she sleeps she can sleep in! She’s the boss! No schedule… This works well, I think! Once she gets steady she should go out dating!

Money had become tight and she was dangerously close to having less then $10 left total. Calliope had become a hermit! No friends! Nobody. Being an author is tough! After a few days being n author wasn’t enough. She had to give up her dream and find a stable job. She is no longer an author. At least the cab ride was fun… Hopefully it’d all be worth it. She’s a papergirl and her writing skill is five. While waiting to go to work the next day, she wrote in hopes of writing a new novel. Oh, get this! She was late for her first day cause she was playing games!

It’s hard to believe that she could be the founder of a great family line in several generations! She’s set in Setra… A desert city!

But, Jerry convinced me to join Star Trek Online because it is the anniversary week! This week they’re giving out special prizes and a ship when I do reach end game. The game seems simple enough, but, of a universe and a story line I absolutely love! It’s going to take some getting used to, but, I can see myself losing too much time to this game.

Sometimes the fog gets so bad that we cannot even see our own curb. This fog will last from like 3 am to nearly 2 pm, we’ve had fog last up to like 4 pm before. I miss the sandstorms sometimes. This fog is so weird, and has a strange smell. During this time of the year from November to April, we can get extremely cold months, heavy rain, wind so high that trees get knocked down, or even the feared black ice.

Fog is also sporadic, for example you can walk a block away sometimes it won’t be foggy for a few blocks, than all of a sudden thick as snow once again. It’s a very strange effect. I get tired of people telling me fog is nothing. Come visit California sometime buddy. I’d love to see how you can deal with tule fog if you haven’t ever seen fog so thick you can’t see your curb…

Oh, when the fog is that thick we can’t see the curb, my camera comes out as all white and dusty/glary looks. :/

In fact, I’m only a member of one RPG right now… Which is the Harry Potter RPG. Been there forever… I have yet to find a second home! So, as I looked further this RPG, Aspen Falls is different. They have these things called Borne and Marked and with the goal of integrating magical beings into our normal modern society. Magic is only taught to control it.

So, this was a kick. Something different. So, I hopped into the chatbox before reading past the home page. I instantly got overwhelmed by several members and then the chat subject changed so drastically that I got lost. I thought these people were half crazy. Crazy = fun in RPGs, right? So… I made a comic as you see above…

Now to go research that RPG more. Maybe I found a new RPG to play. =D

I am actually quite pleased with the quality of photos. I’m still using the same camera, but, I’ve been doing a lot of practice with lightning and lightning effects. Sadly, my camera is not DSLR or I could do some much more amazing things. None of these images are photo shopped, or altered, these are the images in their raw formats (just resized). I will probably touch up the photos in a graphic’s editor one day.

My camera produces a few spots that I cannot seem to get rid of, as if dust is clinging to my lens. But, it’s not that noticeable. It’d be something I’ll edit out in the future.

I couldn’t decide on any of them. However, Blizzard brought back Refer a Friend for $5 and it exists to level eighty. So, I decided, what the hey… and dual-boxed. If you want to multi-box I highly suggest going for HotKeyNet. It’s free and its really good and it comes with easy to use scripts and great documentation. Took me five minutes to set up and start using! Which is great!

I actually picked the first class randomly. I got mad that mages don’t seem to exist ninety percent of the time. So, I made a mage. Somehow, magically, all the mages now exist… It’s funny how Dalaran works, right? I’m on the server Proudmoore because I leveled a hunter there and got invited to a great guild. I’m loving it.

Edit: Well, Ultraxion was down to 15% but we wiped. We couldn’t beat that last few points, so, we switched from 25 man and had our top go do a 10 man and went onto Warmaster Blackhorn. Which was fun, and we got him. We called it at the spine.

Fable III was released for Windows not long ago, after a long delay from the original promised date. Fable III was promised for Windows as a renewed commitment to PC gaming by Microsoft. Microsoft had a heavy hand into the development making Fable III highly depend upon its Windows Live Marketplace platform and active internet connections.

Installing this game is a nightmare. It seemed to be and endless loop of errors telling me that I need to exit the game to install the required update then it would tell me to open the game to login. It repeated constantly. I had to recreate, recreate, recreate profiles. It took me over an hour to install the game. Let alone, at first, I had to manually install the autorun, as the autorun kept getting stuck on trying to ‘configure’ Windows 7 for it. Microsoft and Lionhead Studios did a horrible job with this. Also, it seems the DRM is super tight and there is a live software that is scanning to make sure you’re not stealing it. It hurts!
