My dad just got me a new computer a few days ago. He drove me and my step-mom down to the Los Angeles area. He gave me a budget and I was about $77 under so I picked up Fable III since Skyrim was sold out. So, I spent the last two nights putting this together. Spent all afternoon and evening installing programs, running tests, making sure everything works smoothly. And what better way to test if everything’s running awesomely then playing my favorite game which is kind of the reason why I got this new computer?
Okay, first let’s look at the technical details for you technology geeks!
Also if anyone lives near a Micro Center, now’s the time to get the i7-2600k! It’s at $279. No seriously!
And you get like $30 off if you get a new motherboard. I was going to go with 8 gigabytes of ram, but, the sales guy told us it was only $20 more to get 16. It was the same brand I planned on getting anyway, so we decided why not!
I’m gonna be watching over my system like a hawk for the next while to makesure everything goes okay.
I hope you enjoyed the ultra graphics from World of Warcraft.
I loved them too! I’m currently downloading the 7.5 gigabyte patch right now. o_o I’m about 68% through so far, but, my god Blizzard, thank you for play while waiting. ^_^ Not gonna go to the newer zones effected by this patch until it is done. ^_^
I also headed to Twilight Highlands. Dakota, a battle.net friend of mine whom I met through the random system like eight months ago (and super awesome to talk to) told me it’s the place that brings his system to its knees. So I had to of course check it out and watch my stats like a hawk! And… Also, when did Blizzard start saving your custom keybounds?! I swapped autorun to be R and reply to message to be backspace as that’s easier for me to remember as I love my ten key.
I’m not that geared enough to do Firelands, but, I think I’ll do a few Isle of Conquests to see how it goes. Does anyone have any suggestions of places to check out? If so let me know!
Last minute note: God damn! I hate new keyboards! So many typos!
